They have a decent record of 1-1 through the first 2 weeks of the regular season. Pittsburgh’s week 2 victory against the Cleveland Browns had mixed reactions from many people since their offense struggled a lot to move the ball downfield. Following the game, the Steelers’ offensive coordinator Matt Canada received criticism from experts and fans.

And now, a Pittsburgh fan went out of his way and spent money to send a profane message to Matt Canada. A Steelers fan named “Mitch” hired the Breaking Bad star Dean Norris via Cameo to send an NSFW hate message to the Steelers offensive coordinator. Cameo is a platform used by people to hire celebrities to make them say any message.

“I’ll tell you what: Mitch has something to say. He needs you to get the f**k out of Pittsburgh, OK?,” Dean Norris said. “Mitch says the Pittsburgh Steelers need to fire Matt Canada.”

The Steelers’ offense orchestrated by Canada scored fewer points than their defensive unit. Pittsburgh managed to secure a victory against their AFC North division rivals in a close game, thanks to the 14 points scored by their defense. The Steelers’ star outside linebacker scored the first touchdown of his NFL career in the game.

Pittsburgh’s second-year quarterback Kenny Pickett had an awful outing as he threw for only 222 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception with an abysmal completion percentage of 50%. As a result, offensive coordinator Matt Canada on social media was chastised by the fans of the Pittsburgh-based football team.

During the Steelers’ week 2 game against the Browns, Pittsburgh’s offensive coordinator Matt Canada’s questionable play calling led to fans starting a ‘Fire Canada’ chant inside the stadium.

During a crucial 3rd down in the fourth quarter of the game, Canada made a questionable play call which resulted in a loss of yards for the Steelers. The fans who have been criticizing Canada for a long time now erupted and started calling for the head of their offensive coordinator.

Besides, apart from fans, many experts, including the Fox Sports analyst Colin Cowherd, also have advocated for the Steelers to fire Canada due to his repetitive questionable play calling.

Nonetheless, the Steelers haven’t fired Canada yet and will probably roll with him for the rest of the season. For now, Canada and the Steelers will be focused on the Las Vegas Raiders, who they are scheduled to face this weekend in their week 3 matchup.
