The Dallas Cowboys are all set to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in one of the biggest Wildcard playoff games this season. Despite having a better regular season record, the Cowboys start as the underdogs, and leading NFL analyst, Stephen A. Smith, did his bit to remind everyone of that fact.
The leading NFL analyst, who continues to entertain the fans with his theatrical antics on his television show First Take, decided to hit it one more time ahead of the final wildcard playoff game. Smith made a dramatic entry as First Take held their show in Tampa.
Rocking a cowboy hat, and smoking a cigar, Smith walked up to the elevator, talking about how the Cowboys’ season would end after their clash against Tom Brady. He reminded the Cowboys fans of how they came up short last season against the San Francisco 49ers.

The Cowboys fell to a 23-17 defeat at the hands of Jimmy Garoppolo last season in the Wildcard playoff game. Piling on the misery, Stephen A. Smith pointed out how they would fare against Tom Brady’s Tampa, especially given the record the seven-time Super Bowl winner has against the Cowboys.
He was joined in by former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver turned NFL pundit, Michael Irvin, who hyped up his side’s chances ahead of the epic clash. Stephen A. Smith also made certain claims about how the Cowboys’ fans were feeling about their team’s chances against Tom Brady.
“They got me [at] J.W. Marriott. Some of the Cowboys are in there. I’ve never seen a hotel so quiet. It was peace and quiet. I didn’t see a Cowboy anywhere and didn’t see players. I didn’t see coaches, didn’t see equipment managers and didn’t see anybody. They’re very, very nervous,” Smith said.
“They understand what this is and they’re feeling it because they know if they don’t pull away and they don’t run away with it and the game is close, that’s all it’s going to take: a close game against Tom Brady even after the age of 45. They’re in a world of trouble, baby and I’m here to see it.”
