The Super Bowl LVIII has come bearing both good and bad news for the Swifties. The good news is Taylor Swift has begun her journey from Tokyo’s Haneda Airport to Los Angeles’ LAX airport as aviation journalists believed they’ve spotted the Grammy winner’s private jet. But the bad news is she is facing fiery criticisms from climate activists. 

While traveling to Las Vegas from Japan, environmentalists believe Swift is severely harming the climate as she had already done in the previous three months by producing 138 tons of CO2 to see her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. The “Lover” songwriter is currently facing wrath from users on social media as they advocate for climate change reforms.

With the Grammy Award function, Eras Tour in Tokyo, and the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl game, the past week has been vigorously hectic for the pop superstar.

Given how the ticket prices surged and Swift earned the unofficial ‘lucky charm’ title for the Chiefs games, her presence at the Allegiant Stadium appeared needed rather than wanted.

As her last show ended on February 10th in Tokyo, Swift rushed to the private jet at Haneda airport presumably to see her beau play at his third Super Bowl game and support him with her loud cheers. But now as she has begun her journey, not many seem happy.

As climate activists explode their anger and frustration towards the Grammy winner for emitting hundred tons of carbon dioxide, one quoted Swift’s old interview from 2020 where she talked about how dangerous is climate change.

She said climate change is one of the “horrific situations that we find ourselves facing right now.” However, to see her boyfriend of five months, she has a problem harming the climate, as fans believe. One fan wrote, “Globalists are such frauds,” while another wrote, “Taylor Swift has burned almost 150 TONS of jet fuel visiting her boyfriend.” Here are some of the reactions:
