“They represent NFC in the SuperBowl,” Stephen A Smith makes a BOLD prediction about his 2022 NFL favourites
Stephen A Smith on The Bucs
As another NFL season is around the corner it’s time for debates regarding who are the favourites to be in the SuperBowland who will take the Lombardi home. If you believe Stephen A Smith it’s the Tampa Bay Buccaneers led by Tom Brady. At least for making the Super Bowl from the NFC.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are among the favourites to win it all for most people but given the unexpected nature of the game, not many can throw their support behind a team, especially a team like the Bucs who will have a 45-year-old recently unretired Quarterback leading the charge even if it is the GOAT himself, Tom Brady but ESPN senior analyst Stephen A Smith seems convinced.
“I would bet on the Bucs to win the Super Bowl.” Stephen A Smith
On First Take, Smith was asked whether he would bet on the Bucs to win the SuperBowl given the circumstances, and based on recent comments made by former Patriots offensive coordinator Charlie Weis-“Yes I would, yes I would. First of all partly because of what Charlie Wies said……….The other part about all of this is NFC by default.”
Then Smith went on to rip the NFC apart team by the team starting from his favourite target the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers, and the Minnesota Vikings pointing out problems with each team. NFC South teams the New Orleans Saints, NFC West Seattle, and the Arizona Cardinals and their quarterback Kyler Murray also had some shots fired at them by Smith. He even touched on the San Francisco 49ers and the QB controversy brewing there.
He continued- “So if you scour the NFC prosperity doesn’t seem as difficult for a team with experience, talent, cohesiveness, and greatness in the form of your Quarterback who happens to be the greatest ever(Brady) 84000 plus yards passing, the all-time leader in Super Bowl championships, passing yards, completions, touchdowns that’s who we’re talking about here……I certainly think that it’s plausible that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.”
Smith may be confident in the Bucs but this sport is as unpredictable as they come and although the Bucs may be favourites we can only know for sure come February 12.
