Tom Brady recently announced his retirement from the NFL through an emotional video that he posted on social media. The legendary QB now wants to focus more on his family and is looking forward to spending even more time with his kids.

“I look forward to exploring a lot of other parts of life that have been put aside for a time being,” Brady said in a recent episode of his “Let’s Go!” podcast on SiriusXM. “I’ll feel some different things, I’m sure, as things go along, but you know, I’m doing great.”

The former Bucs QB recently got a bit emotional during Valentine’s day and posted a heartwarming quote by motivational speaker Sadhguru on his Instagram. “Love is not a transaction; it is a certain exuberance and sweetness of your emotion,” Brady stated on his Instagram story.

The quote came just after his brutal divorce from his ex-wife, Gisele. The couple was married for 12 years before they decided to call it all off. Many reasons were included, but the most important one was that Brady choose football over spending time with the family.

TB12 followed up the quote with multiple pictures of his children, Jack, Benjamin, and Vivian. Brady retired from football after leaving a long-standing legacy that probably will never be reached by anyone else in his lifetime.

The former Patriots QB completed football and won almost everything there is to be won while breaking every single QB record held before him. However, all of these came through the personal sacrifice of him not spending enough time with his family, which later led to his divorce.

Brady dedicated 23 years of his life to the NFL with complete dedication and passion. The 45-year-old QB is currently regarded as the best player, without any competition.

However, TB12 has decided to leave all that behind and is looking forward to life after football. The former Patriots QB has also signed a lucrative deal with Fox Sports that will see him as a broadcaster. Although, it is still not sure when he will start working with them.

Currently, his only priority is spending time with his family, which includes his three kids. The former couple, Tom Brady and Gisele, have decided to take shared custody of their two children Benjamin and Vivian as they look to parent them together despite going through a divorce.
