Everything appears to be going downhill at once for Tom Brady. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is in the most demanding spot of his entire career as he has to deal with attempting to keep his wife, Gisele Bündchen, and kids together with him while still stepping onto the field and performing at an elite level. Despite his attempts, separation seems to be inevitable now.
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have indicated that their relationship is headed toward a divorce and the reason for this is the quarterback’s decision to unretire just 40-days after he announced he would be walking away from the league. The duo has remained silent and not publicly spoken about the issues they are dealing with, but their friends and other sources close to them have made it clear that Tom is the reason for the failure of their marriage.
Tom Brady always wants to get his way, and this attitude is what drove Gisele Bündchen away:
As per Us Weekly, Tom Brady’s friends are unhappy with how he has dealt with this situation. Tom Brady has reportedly gone back on the promises that he made to Gisele Bündchen with respect to retiring from the NFL. “Gisele and Tom’s friends are upset at Tom for going back on his word and coming out of retirement. They hate the way Tom is refusing to bend for Gisele,” an insider stated.
The mutual friends of the couple do strongly believe that the two can still reconcile and work on their issues. “This was really the first big issue they’ve had in their marriage. Friends are hoping they aren’t past the point of no return. Tom has been throwing himself into work and focusing all his love on the kids. Gisele has been focusing on their kids and also working to build up her businesses and take some time for herself,” the insider added.
While this may be the case, Gisele Bündchen will be expecting Tom Brady to do most of the work this time, as she has been the anchor who has held things down for their family in his absence. The quarterback may have to do a lot of convincing and reassuring if he wishes to change her decision.
Gisele has been quite active on social media recently. She liked a post that related to inconsistent relationships and even dropped a comment, hinting that she could fully understand what the post was talking about. “You can’t be in a committed relationship with someone who is inconsistent with you. Read that again.” This was the content of that post, and Gisele responded with the praying emoji.
Tom Brady is not doing too well, either. The quarterback is still hoping to get back with his wife and keep his family together. “Tom isn’t taking things well. He wants to reconcile and was still holding out hope that they could work things out. He is extremely hurt and misses Gisele being by his side. He feels abandoned in a way. He loves his family but also wants to continue his career. He feels like he is in a tough spot,” an insider told Entertainment Tonight.
It is not easy for Brady to compete on the field with a clear head when his marital life is on the verge of destruction. However, he is doing his best to mend things with Gisele. If the two do reconcile, this will be his last season in the league and there would be no second-guessing that. Hopefully, the two do reconcile as he deserves to leave the game and return to his family, which will cheer him up. It would be unfortunate if his competitiveness and love for the game turns out to be the reason that he lost his family.
