The clash between the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys will be a mouthwatering clash and the latter is leaving no stone unturned to play mind games with the Cowboys. Ahead of the clash, Trent Williams, who plays for the 49ers, said that the Cowboys would give a start to Trey Lance, who was traded to the Cowboys from the 49ers this season. Jerry Jones, the billionaire general manager of the team, traded Lance as a backup and developing QB.

This will be the homecoming for Lance, who had a very tough time at the 49ers due to his injuries and the speedy growth of Brock Purdy‘s career at the 49ers. Seeing this as an opportunity, Jerry Jones traded him as a backup quarterback. However, Lance has not received a game time this season. Dak Prescott has started in all four games and he has been quite effective in ensuring success for his team.

Speaking on the issue, Williams told NBC Sports Bay Area, “I don’t have a crystal ball. But I think in this league when you do the right things and you’re made of the right stuff, eventually an opportunity will find its way back to you. And I think that will happen in Trey’s case. And when it does, we’ll all see the talent everybody knows that’s inside of him.”

Their offense is out of the world, as both Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey have been pivotal in ensuring success. As things stand, this will be a fierce encounter between the Dallas defense and the 49ers offense. It is to be seen who emerges victorious after the high-voltage clash.
