“Washed for years”- NFL Twitter trolls Odell Beckham Jr despite video footage showing WR getting closer to complete fitness

The curious case of Odell Beckham Jr is one which has kept fans on the edge through the 2022 NFL season. The 30-year-old wide receiver was all set to return to the gridiron this season after a lengthy layoff due to a torn ACL injury.
Beckham Jr, revived his career after his move to the Los Angeles Rams. He was an integral cog in the Rams’ system as he helped them to a Super Bowl win last season over the Cincinnati Bengals.
However, he suffered a devastating injury against the Bengals in the first quarter which kept him from returning to the biggest NFL clash of the season. The injury proved has proven a lot worse than it was initially feared to be, and has kept him out of action for the entire 2022/23 season.
There were numerous reports of the wide receiver making a prodigious return to the league mid season. His fitness levels generated plenty of interest throughout the season, and as many as five franchises were interested in acquiring his services for the playoffs.

The most interested team amongst them all were the Dallas Cowboys. Owner Jerry Jones spoke about the wide receiver numerous times during the season, and had all but confirmed a move for the veteran. It all fell apart in the end after it emerged that Odell Beckham Jr had not recuperated completely and wouldn’t be fit in time for the playoffs.
Now, the veteran has given a positive update for his fans and the franchises interested in his services for the upcoming season. He posted a message alongside a video of him receiving the ball and making a number of sprints with it.
Fans however, were quick to point out that his fitness will continue remain a weak point in his game, with some suggesting on Twitter that his body was made of glass. Check out a few Twitter reactions below-
“I swear I’m loadin…. No where near I wanna be but exactly where I need to be,” captioned Beckham Jr. It appears that he is nearing full fitness and will be eager to make an entry into the NFL after a one year hiatus, especially after his exploits with the Rams last time out.
