The Miami Dolphins‘ All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill has been lighting up the NFL defences for the last few years. There was a possibility he could have landed with the New York Jets instead of the Dolphins. However, the move didn’t go through due to the Hollywood actor Adam Sandler, who is a big fan of the New York-based football team.
During a recent appearance on the Punch Line podcast, Tyreek Hill shared the one thing he wanted to sign with the Jets. Hill said if his favorite Hollywood actor, Adam Sandler, called him about playing for the Jets, he would’ve signed the contract.
I was almost a New York Jet, man. I’m a huge Adam Sandler guy, and Adam Sandler loves the New York Jets. My request was, if Adam Sandler was to call me and ask me to come play for the Jets, I would have went.Tyreek Hill said on the podcast
Furthermore, he went on to talk about how he also wanted to play a character in Adam Sandler’s recent sports movie ‘Hustle’. Later he also said that if Sandler made a football ‘Hustle’ movie it should definitely feature the Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes.
Nonetheless, Hill’s move from the Chiefs to the Miami-based football team was well documented. During that time, there were several supports suggesting Hill could sign with the New York Jets. However, the Dolphins always had the upper hand in the negotiations.
At the time of the move, the Dolphins had the better QB, and taxes were lower in Florida than in New York. Still, there was a small possibility of Tyreek Hill signing with the Jets and Adam Sandler could’ve boosted it.
Tyreek Hill settled a paternity suit with one of four alleged baby mamas
While Tyreek Hill has no issue dodging defenders on the field, the Miami Dolphins wide receiver seems to be having trouble with avoiding legal issues. Recently, he was sued by two different women, who claimed Hill was the biological father of their kids.
And now, the All-Pro pass catcher has settled with one of those women. According to reports, both Hill and the 30-year-old Brittany Lackner have agreed that the wide receiver was the biological father of their kid. They have agreed on a confidential deal.
Still, Hill has one paternity suit pending in the court. Besides, he was also recently sued by an Onlyfans model, who claims Hill broke her leg while playing backyard football. She is seeking financial compensation for her injuries.
