Tom Brady is officially retired from the NFL. Brady announced his retirement for a second time after his initial announcement came last year which was moot in the greater scheme of things.
The seven-time Super Bowl winner is making good use of his time off the circuit, after a grueling season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which ended in a defeat in the Wildcard playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys. Brady took to his official Twitter account, to post a snap of himself wearing nothing but underwear.
While it may baffle those who are viewing the post for the first time, it was simply a ruse to promote his official apparel ‘BRADY’ brand. He recreated a few photos that the models had shot for his brand last year after he had made a promise of doing the same.
Brady tagged a few of his good NFL mates in the picture, in the form of former wide receiver Julian Edelman and tight end Rob Gronkowski, enquiring about their opinions on the picture. Although the duo did not share their views, current Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill joined in on the conversation swiftly.

Hill took a hilarious dig at Tom Brady, comparing his appearance to former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown. Sharing the post on his official Twitter account, Hill captioned it, “Tom done retired and turned into AB.”
For those who are well versed with the NFL, the reference wouldn’t be a hard one to pick up on. Hill tried to hint at the fact that Brady posting pictures in his underwear is eerily similar to a certain Antonio Brown, who has made quite a reputation for himself recently, for all the wrong reasons, ofcourse.
Brown’s final appearance in the NFL was filled with drama, as the wide receiver removed his sporting gear on the gridiron during Buccaneers’ regular season game against the New York Jets. He left the pitch without his shirt, and had his contract snapped with the franchise, and has not found himself another franchise in the NFL since then.
Tom Brady and Antonio Brown were actually good friends, but the relationship turned sour after the latter’s outburst on the pitch. Brown has called out Brady numerous times during the current season, making his intentions very clear about what he thinks about the former Buccaneers quarterback.
