Well, Flowers’ performance had everything to grab the attention of the WR. From the very first minute of the game, the wideout started dominating the game. The first touchdown came from him when QB Lamar Jackson connected him with a three-yard throw. It was much needed as the Chargers were leading from a field goal. The Ravens were down by 0-3 and the touchdown gave them a 7-3 lead.
The wideout came in handy again during the fourth quarter. This time, the Ravens were looking to keep their lead intact, and the Chargers were on the verge of settling things down. The Chargers were standing at 10-13. Flowers found a 34-yard pass from his quarterback and finished the touchdown. The lead was extended to 20-10. The Chargers did not have a moment to come back.
Apart from the performance on the turf, Flowers also did something incredible. He imitated Cristiano Ronaldo on the turf. After securing the win for his side, the WR also presented another celebration to the fans with the theme of a ‘wedding bouquet’.
Zay Flowers is having a great rookie season
Flowers is proving himself well in the Ravens jersey in his very first season. The rookie WR has registered 58 receptions for 613 yards and has an average of 10.6 per carry.
In addition to this, the WR has had two touchdowns. One of them came against the Chargers at a very crucial moment. The fans are hoping that the WR will continue with the form in the coming games.
