The Kansas City Chiefs shocked the whole of NFL with their decision to trade one of their main players in the form of Tyreek Hill in March. The franchise and the player were involved in talks of a long term contract extension but it ended with an exceptional twist.

Tyreek Hill signed a 4-year contract with the Dolphins and will pocket about $120million over the course of his deal. Since the deal took place, fans have had plenty of theories as to why such a move went through.

The trailer for the podcast gives us a glimpse as to why the wide receiver did not agree to a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs. Hill however implied that he wanted to stay on with the Chiefs, as he himself said when quizzed by Julius Collins.

“Once the season was over, we reached out to the Chiefs and we said, ‘hey, y’know, we wanna keep it going,’ Tyreek wanted to be there,” Rosenhaus said in the trailer of the podcast.

Hill then interjected saying, “Say that again! Tyreek wanted to be in KC. Wanted — wanted to be in KC, man.”We tried to do an extension with them,” Rosenhaus responded.

Collins Julius also alluded to a fact that the Chiefs were not able to utilise Tyreek Hill’s abilities to the best, despite knowing what he was capable of and couple have conjured up with, if given the chance with Patrick Mahomes in the seasons to come.

Hill recorded a career-high 111 receptions for 1,239 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. The first episode of his podcast will be available on June 10.
