“Tom Brady’s been doing it for 20-plus years,” NFL legend Warren Sapp reveals the reason why veteran QB dramatically unretired
Tom Brady pulled off a retirement stunt earlier this offseason. The 44-year-old Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback announced his retirement from the game in February, as he wanted to spend more time with his family.
However, only after about 40 days, the quarterback decided to un-retire, a move that had been speculated by many every since his initial announcement. He is all set to play his 23rd season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will want to win his eighth Super Bowl title after narrowly missing out last season.
Warren Sapp thinks Tom Brady missed the NFL after spending time at home
Former NFL legend, Warren Sapp gave his thoughts on Brady’s retirement and unretirement saga during an exclusive interview with Vlad TV. The former Buccaneers defensive tackle felt that because Brady has been in the sport for over 20 years, he started missing it ever since he announced his decision to retire.
Warren Sapp said during his conversation with Vlad TV, “So now he got home for two days, and I bet that honeydew list was good and long got four kids under 12, shh, you the school bus, the grocery van, the recreational teacher. You coming into the school for some aqua day… I’m telling you that list gets long because you don’t have the one thing that you’ve always said, I’m going to work, and he’s been doing it 20 plus years…”
