Recently, a fan posted a sensational video of NFL legend, Terrell Owens. The clip, which has since gone viral, chronicles the retired 49ers player flatlining a man who was harassing a fan of his in CVS.
The legendary WR told TMZ Sports about the incident. Owens revealed that he had intended to stop by the store and pick up a few things he needed. Owens said that when he was inside, a fan approached him and they had a friendly conversation. However, things quickly turned sour as a second man approached and joined the fray.
This was the guy who eventually had the stuffing knocked out of him by Terrell Owens. T.O. further elaborated that this man had started talking trash to the man with whom Owens was conversing. Eventually, things broke down further as this aggressor threatened to beat up Terrell and his fan outside the store.
The 3 men eventually made their way to the sidewalk outside the CVS store, where the heckler took an unprovoked swing at the legendary wide receiver. This was an enormous blunder as Terrel quickly sized up the man before delivering a devastating right of his own. This sent the man crashing down to the ground and wasn’t as keen to fight T.O. after getting KO’d.
Terrell Owens’ neighbor charged with lying to law enforcement officials over racially charged altercation
Back in August, Terrell Owens was part of another altercation. He was harassed by his neighbor for allegedly “driving recklessly” and being “a black man approaching a white woman.” The Florida woman knowingly and willfully lied to the police about the incident which Owens’ streamed live on his Instagram page.
The ex-49ers player captioned the post “KAREN IS REAL!!!! Wow!! JUST A NORMAL NIGHT OF BEING A BLACK MAN IN AMERICA. I want to say I can’t believe it but y’all know what it is.” According to DailyMail, the woman who caused the entire ordeal was later charged with a second-degree misdemeanor. According to the reporting officer’s statement, the woman was unable to support her allegations.
Terrell Owens then posted a picture of the woman who had falsely charged him and referenced Emmett Till, who was lynched because of a similar situation, only he didn’t have the platform or voice of Owens.
The caption read, “THIS IS FOR THOSE LIKE EMMITT TILL WHO WAS BRUTALLY MURDERED AND DIDN’T GRET A CHANCE TO LIVE TO SPEAK THEIR TRUTHS BECAUSE OF FALSE ACCUSATIONS. Regarding the incident that took place last night… Here she is, a real life and our neighborhood Karen: her name is Caitlyn Davis.”
