Will Levis got humiliated on national television after he was not drafted in the first round. All the draft experts and gurus predicted Levis to be a first-round pick and he arrived in style in Kansas City with his whole family. However, all the teams passed him over and he had to leave his head hanging low.

After not being picked on day one of the draft, Will Levis didn’t attend day two because he didn’t want to be a laughing stock for everyone if he didn’t get picked in the third round as well. Levis said in an interview with The Guardian that he and his family flew to Connecticut to attend a family gathering. On Day 1, Will Levis’ girlfriend made headlines for her ravishing looks.

Of course, there were jokes made at the expense of Will Levis’s humiliation, but one radio host took things to the next level. In a since-deleted tweet, 95.3 WDAE & AM 620 host Nick Wize called Levis a “spoiled little b**ch” after he opted out of being present on day two of the draft. “To me the fact he left after the first round, that’s a red flag for me with Will Levis. He’s a spoiled little b****h.”

Wize attracted a lot of string responses from everyone on Twitter which made him take down the tweet. He later apologized for his comments and said: “I made a comment about Will Levis this morning recapping his decision to leave Kansas City after he wasn’t selected in the 1st round. During that segment, I called him a name that wasn’t necessary. My comment was over the line and unprofessional. For that I apologize.”

Despite showing strong signs of being picked in the first round, the Kentucky quarterback slid down the draft and was selected by the Titans in the second round. ESPN’s Chris Mortensen said that teams were concerned about his toe injury. Levis missed two games last year because of that injury and a few organizations feel that he might need surgery on that.

ESPN draft expert Todd McShay said on SportsCenter that a few teams found Will Levis too ‘cocky’ which wasn’t a quality they look for in a franchise quarterback. “Ultimately the turnovers and style of play is an issue, too. He plays the quarterback position like a linebacker and we saw the toll it had on his body last year. A lot of teams I talked to were worried he was going to have a Carson Wentz case when it’s all said and done if he doesn’t learn how to protect his body better,” McShay added.

The Titans now have three quarterbacks on the roster – Ryan Tannehill, Malik Willis, and Will Levis. Head coach Mike Vrebal said during the press conference that Tannehill will line up under center in Week 1 but it might change. He added that it depends on the three signal callers and basically implied that there will be a three-way competition for the starting job.

It’ll be interesting to keep a close eye on the quarterback situation in Tennessee, because it’s anybody’s guess as to which of them comes out of the top. Let’s see if Will Levis can outmatch the veteran and the second-year quarterback or not.
