One of the biggest stories in the sports world currently is the romantic relationship between the Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and the global music star Taylor Swift. The relationship between those two has been compared to Zac Efron’s famous Disney movie, High School Musical. Amidst this, the movie’s star Efron has opened up about the comparisons.

Recently, Zac Efron fielded questions from E! News while promoting his new Prime Video movie Ricky Stanicky. Efron had a stoked reaction to the comparisons between his film and Swift-Kelce’s romance. He also said that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are two of the best people in the world.

Efron played a high school athlete, Troy Bolton, who falls in love with fellow student Gabriella Montez (played by Vanessa Hudgens) in the movie High School Musical. Gabriella is seen cheering on her boyfriend during his basketball games, similar to Swift cheering on Kelce during the NFL games in the 2023 regular season and the playoffs.

Swift and Kelce even had a movie-like movement as they shared a kiss on the field after the underdog Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers to win their Super Bowl second consecutive championship title. Swift attended the game with her friends Blake Lively and Ice Spice.

Even after the football season was over, their relationship continued to play out like a movie. Kelce flew all the way to Australia to cheer for his girlfriend on the international leg of the Eras Tour. He quickly returned to the United States to continue his Super Bowl celebration.

Travis Kelce opened up about dating Taylor Swift

The Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has been dating the global popstar Taylor Swift for more than 6 months now. Although Kelce is a really popular star himself, he is nowhere near as popular as the 14-time Grammy Award-winning singer.

Recently, Travis’ older brother Jason Kelce disclosed that the Chiefs tight end had to move out of his house to avoid paparazzi. Jason couldn’t fathom the level of fame Swift has obtained because of her music.

However, Travis isn’t intimidated by Swift’s fame. He recently claimed that Swift’s handling of all the crazy things in her life has made him realize that he can’t be acting strange due to fame.

Nonetheless, the relationship between Swift and Kelce has been going smoothly. There are rumors the couple could take their relationship to the next level during their first anniversary in June.
