Other than being an exceptional football player, Aaron Rodgers is also known for his controversies. Rodgers loves to be in the spotlight. Recently, MVP voter, Hub Arkush said he won’t vote for Aaron Rodgers because he is ‘the biggest jerk in the league.’

However, Rodgers is not as bad as Hub Arkush has painted him to be. Green Bay Packers RB, AJ Dillon said that Rodgers is an excellent teammate as he has helped him in improving his game.

“Aaron Rodgers is one of the best QB to play the game ever”: AJ Dillon

AJ had nothing but great things to say about the reigning MVP. “I’m now having the chance to be in the same team, go out there and battle with him, learn from him and he is always giving me a little bit of nuggets here and there. Things I can work on my game.”

Second-year running back, AJ said that Rodgers has been assisting him in his running routes. “How to come out of them, how to break the certain way, and you know get my hands ready for the ball”, said AJ. “If you are gonna get the ball, it’s going to be coming to you by the time you are done going through your reads.” He further said that Rodgers told him to not predetermine the moves that he’s going to make. Rodgers told AJ to trust the offensive linemen in doing their jobs and run his routes without overthinking.

AJ added, “He’s helped me a lot with the X’s and O’s but the one thing I would say overall is he’s definitely helped me a lot with my confidence because there are a lot of things I hadn’t done at BC (Boston College) that I’m asked to do now.” The RB also said that his QB gives him a ‘little nod’ to let AJ know that he has been doing things right and that he appreciates AJ putting in the work.

Everyone agrees that despite his knack for controversies, Aaron Rodgers is a phenomenal leader and a great QB who has helped his teammates achieve the same success he has. AJ said that despite Hub Arkush’s statement, Rodgers deserves to be the MVP this season. In the season finales, the Packers are facing the Detriot Lions on Sunday night.
