The franchise has agreed on a trade move for the quarterback with Denver Broncos, in a deal that shocked the world of the NFL. This will see him play in the AFC West division ending a long association with his former side, which started way back in 2012, as a third round (75th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft.

Russell Wilson won the Super Bowl with the Hawks in 2014 and even carried them to a successive appearance in the titular clash in the following year. However, since then things have not gone to plan for them.

The previous season was even more disappointing as they finished 4th in the NFC West division, which prompted them to make changes in their roster for the upcoming season.

The message said, “SEATTLE, I love you. Forever grateful. #3.”
