The star quarterback is all set to join the Denver Broncos. The Seahawks and Broncos have agreed in principle on a trade. The trade involves Drew Lock, 2 first-round picks, 2 second-round picks, a fifth-round pick, Noah Fant and Shelby Harris will be sent to Seattle in exchange for Wilson.

Renowned NFL analyst Skip Bayless took to Twitter to give his take in the Wilson trade. Skip was seemingly pleased for the Broncos as he stated that they ‘stole’ the star QB from Seattle. “Denver just stole Russell Wilson from Seattle. Congrats, Broncos. Condolences, Seahawks,” Skip tweeted.

Although Wilson didn’t have a season to boast about, he was leaving signs every now and then that he wasn’t happy with the team. We all know what a change in the franchise can do to a player. Who can forget the OBJ fairytale which began immediately after he stepped in for the Rams.

Broncos fans would be hoping that Wilson, the first quarterback set to start for a team that he beat in the Super Bowl, to prove as lucky for the franchise after trade as OBJ proved for the LA Rams.
