Joe Burrow created history in Super Wild card Weekend. Burrow led the Cinncinati Bengals to their first playoff win in 31 years. The last time the Bengals had won a playoff game was in the year 1991.

Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was a superstar against the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders were hoping to end their playoff drought by defeating the Bengals. Las Vegas raiders last appeared in the playoff in the 2002 season. Sadly, Joe Burrow outdid Derek Carr which results in a 26-19 Bengals win.

Cowherd said Joe Burrow faced more pressure than Carr and still managed to play better than him

NFL Analyst Colin Cowherd said that the Bengals’ victory was a result of Joe Burrow’s elite performance in this game and throughout the season. “The best quarterback won today,” said Cowherd stating that Joe Burrow was a better QB than Derek Carr. “Burrow was magnificent and faced much more consistent pressure than Derek Carr did and was still the better quarterback.”

He said that the best QB won every division in the NFL this year and Joe Burrow was also the best QB since he won his division and a playoff game as well. “The officials weren’t good”, said Colin referring to Burrow’s TD pass to Tyler Boyd. “But in the end, you get 12-13 possessions in the leagues. Players aren’t perfect, coaches aren’t perfect, they butcher timeout situations, and refs aren’t perfect either.” Earlier, Colin also said that Joe Burrow should be the league MVP over Aaron Rodgers.

Colin said, “Congratulations to Burrow and the Bengals. I don’t know how long it lasts. It feels that winning the division and a playoff game that feels still a ceiling to the Bengals. I still think they need another draft in free agency period to finalize this roster to be a Super Bowl roster. But nonetheless, they got the right quarterback. Congrats!”

Joe Burrow has been a wonderful QB this year. Burrow has all the qualities of a great NFL quarterback. Colin Cowherd even compared Burrow to Tom Brady, the greatest QB of all time. Given Joe Burrow’s performance this season, it may not be far-fetched to assume that the Bengals can at least reach the AFC Championship game and hopefully the Super Bowl. Bengals’ win most likely means that Cincinnati will travel to face the No.1 seed, Tennessee Titans next weekend in the Divisional Round.
