“Tom Brady or LeBron James ?” – Chris Broussard picks which athlete has ‘better defined’ the 21st century

Tom Brady and LeBron James

Tom Brady and LeBron James are the most iconic athletes in the NFL and NBA respectively. Both of them are the greatest in their own sport. Tom Brady is regarded as the “greatest quarterback of all time”. LeBron James is widely considered one of the greatest players in NBA history and is frequently compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player ever.

In sports, players have the opportunity to create an impact that can change the lives of thousands of people. Chirs Broussard on First Things First argued which of these two notable athletes has defined the 21st century better.

“Inside the lines, It’s clearly Brady,” Broussard said. “I think that’s inarguable. Brady’s simply dominated his sport more than LeBron did. Brady owned the NFL. In records individually he will retire with more than LeBron and more significant records than LeBron.” Tom Brady holds the NFL record for the most — wins as starting QB, Super Bowl wins, playoffs wins, passing yards, passing TDs, completions, to name a few.

Broussard added, “Brady has won more Super Bowls than any franchise. they’ve both been to 10 championships — Super Bowls or Finals. Brady’s won 7 and LeBron’s won 4. He’s lost more than he’s won. So, as an athlete, I would say Brady.”

“Off the field, outside the lines, LeBron has clearly defined the 21st century for athletes,” Broussard said naming King James as the athlete who has better defined the 21st century. “First of all, he’s a business mogul. He was doing movies, shows and all of that about himself and his life long before Brady.”

“Like Brady has gotten much more into business and now he’s doing all these TV shows and movies about himself — Man in the Arena all that stuff after LeBron. LeBron set the path of Player Empowerment.” Chris further added that Kevin Durant wouldn’t have made the move to go to Golden State Warriors, which changed the history of the NBA, had it not been for LeBron who set the standard by going to Miami Heat from Cleveland Cavaliers.

“Off the field, LeBron is far more defining and impactful than Brady but in the lines I gotta go with Brady,” concluded Broussard.
