Kansas City Chiefs faced their most humiliating defeat at the hands of Joe Burrow and the Bengals in the AFC Championship game on Sunday. The Chiefs were leading 21-3 throughout the second quarter and it looked like the Bengals were going to lose.
However, Joe Burrow lead the Greatest Comeback in the Conference Championship game and won the game in OT. Burrow will lead the Bengals to their first Super Bowl since 1989.
Joe Burrow pulled the greatest comeback ever when the Bengals defeated Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC title game

The Bengals were 13-21 with 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. Joe Burrow covered 11 points in 2 minutes 40 seconds to tie the game at the end of the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Bengals kicked a field goal to lead by 3 points, and the Chiefs covered the deficit in the last minute to send the game into OT.
Kansas City won the coin toss and received the ball in OT. The game was looking like the Chiefs-Bills divisional game where a coin toss decided the faith of both the teams. The Chiefs won against Buffalo so everyone assumed they would emerge victorious once again. The Twitter handle of the Chiefs tweeted — “WE WON THE COIN TOSS!”
Sadly, the Chiefs and their fans celebrated a bit too early. The Bengals shut out Patrick Mahomes in OT. Vonn Bell intercepted Mahomes’ pass in OT which gave Joe Burrow a chance to set up rookie kicker Evan McPherson’s 31-yard field goal that sent the Bengals to the Super Bowl.

The Chiefs were ridiculed by NFL fans for celebrating prematurely after winning the coin toss.
Burrow and the Bengals proved that the OT rules are not biased and winning the coin toss doesn’t guarantee a win. Cincinnati Bengals will travel to SoFi Stadium to face the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI.
