“You’ve ruined interviewing Aaron Rodgers”: Kay Adams takes a jab at Pat McAfee

Aaron Rodgers is known for his knack for controversial statements. Rodgers loves to stay in the spotlight which is evident by everything he has said and done this past year.

Most of Aaron Rodgers’ “epiphanies” occur when he converses with his best buddy Pat McAfee on the Pat McAfee Show — his “If you can’t question science, it’s propaganda”  statements and against the NFL’s “two-tier system” for vaccinated and unvaccinated players have all originated on Pat’s show. Good Morning Football host, Kay Adams, is unhappy with McAfee and said that he has ‘ruined’ interviewing Aaron Rodgers.

“I’m told you get to sit down with Aaron Rodgers for 7-10 minutes”, said Adams. “So, I sit down and I’m like what question do I wanna ask him? and it’s impossible to even come up with anything to ask him. He just comes on your show and has these hour-long sessions and streams of consciousness and there is literally nothing that he has not gone over with you. And so you’ve ruined the experience of networks interviewing Aaron Rodgers. Congratulations.”

“Okay thank you”, McAfee said jokingly. “You know I wanna thank all the boys here, you guys do a great job. And obviously, we’d like to thank Aaron for taking Tuesday’s 50-55 minutes and after years and years of not talking to anybody about anything because everybody just buried him publicly. Basically coming on the show and bearing his soul, we appreciate that.”

Before his affinity for staying in the spotlight, the reigning MVP, Aaron Rodgers, was shy and would never talk as freely as he does now. Recently, Rodgers talked about mental health and happiness with Pat. “True happiness doesn’t come from eliminating all the problems in your life”, said Rodgers. “It comes from solving the problems you have.”

Because of this very reason, Kay Adams feels that there is no new question to ask Rodgers since he opens himself up on Pat Mcafee’s show. Adams said, “He’s never been an open book but you’ve really let us get to know his character who he is as a human, his kindness, his vulnerability. Seriously it’s awesome but it’s very difficult to come up with new material.”

Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay Packers had a bye week since they are the No,1 seed in the NFC. Now, the Packers will face the San Fransico 49ers in the Divisional round this weekend.
