Koepka was seen waving a traffic cone while shouting “YOU SUCK”, and “F***ing traffic cone” from his luxurious stand in FLA Arena. The absurdity of the situation caught the attention of the internet as the video of his screaming went viral.

Whether it be due to Brooks Koepka’s screaming or not, the Panthers at that very moment scored a goal, causing an uproar of cheers in the stands. Even the golf star seemed to have been taken aback for a few moments as the team and fans started celebrating their goal.

Regardless of the outcome, Brooks Kopeka heckling Panthers defenceman Aaron Ekblad was an unseen incident. In NHL, players who are weak on the defensive end are often compared to traffic cones. It’s to symbolize the easiness of skating around a traffic cone.

Koepka’s actions on Saturday can be taken as him speaking his mind on how unimpressed he was with Ekblad’s performance. The NHL defenceman had a tough 2022-23 season as he posted 31 points in 63 games with 12 goals and 19 assists. In his NHL career, he has made 322 points with 109 goals and 213 assists in 617 games.

Moreover with the Rangers’ win over Panthers in a 4-3 victory, the NY has finally listed their name in the Stanley Cup race 2023. This’ll be their chance to retaliate against Tampa Bay Lightning as they feel to Bolts in the previous 2022 series.

They’ve fortified their roster with strong players, especially after adding Patrick Kane and Vladimir Tarasenko. Apart from these two top players, Artemi Panarin is leading the team in points as well as goalie Igor Shesterkin’s incredible performance has led the team to victory many times.

As of now, the Rangers have been crowned four times with the Stanley Cup. Now with a few teams remaining to clinch a playoff spot, NHL will be racing against time, as teams from different divisions fight for their spot.
