It seems that New York Rangers’ legendary goaltender Henrik Lundqvist has once again increased his fan base. Tuesday’s game at Madison Square Garden went wild as fans started roaring looking at the kiss cam. Henrik, who was seated between two-star actors Ryan Reynolds and Alexander Skarsgard ended up getting smooched on camera.

The whole game started with Skarsgard planting a kiss on Henrik’s cheek when the kiss cam turned on them. Feeling left alone, Ryan also joined the fun shortly after. The shy former Rangers goaltender only kept smiling all the while. The stars had fun teasing the 40-year-old while the fans witnessed one of the best moments of the night.

Apart from the three heads mentioned earlier, “Stranger Things” star David Harbour was seen in Mike Zibanejad’s jersey cheering during the Rangers vs. Minnesota Wild game. The ongoing chaos further added Rangers’ win of the night, as they dusted off Wilds in a 4-3 victory.

Tuesday night proved that it’s not only Rangers fans who love Henrik Lundqvist but also stars like Ryan Reynolds and Alexander Skarsgard. Throughout the game, the Rangers played well enough, as they stormed back from a 2-0 deficit to a 4-3 win.

Post-game Rangers center Filip Chytil noted, “Sometimes you have to work for the luck”. “Maybe it’s not luck, it’s just working. Sometimes it’s coming easier, sometimes you have to work a little harder, but today we play good consistently the whole game and I think we deserved the two points.”

Lundqvist who spent his entire career with the Rangers starting from 2005 to 2020 got to leave the arena seeing his team win. Currently, the Rangers stand at 23-12-7, third in Metropolitan Division, while the Wilds carry 22-14-4.

Lundqvist whose net worth is expected to be $35 million in 2023, according to TheRichest, told People after his retirement from Rangers, “I’ve always been at peace with it”. “I’ve been in a very good place. I’ve been happy, extremely grateful for the things I experienced and the time I had as a Ranger.”
