Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller once again loses his cool as the team collapses 5-4 against Tampa Bay Lightning. The Canucks were already heated in a race to catch the playoff birth, to which Miller contributed by slamming his stick on the bench and yelling at his teammates for poor performance.
Miller seems to have made an enemy with the camera, as it caught him during his frenzy roll. This wasn’t his first act, as the player also got into negative rumors circling on social media after lashing out at goalie Collin Delia. In the game, Delia wanted to go back to the bench but was confused as he received no signs from the coach.
Delia’s to and fro during the last moments of the game infuriated Miller who slammed his stick back of his net screaming to get back at base. His behavior was heavily criticized by fans as Delia’s performance that night gave the Canucks those extra few minutes.

Nevertheless, it seems some things just don’t change. One more example of J.T. Miller’s 2022-23 rowdy acts would be his stint with Luke Schenn on October 22. After messing up his game, Schenn approached Miller to speak with him, as the forward skated on ignoring the 33-year-old defenceman.
Both of them started a heated verbal exchange as forward Conor Garland came in between to stop both players. Miller is quite well known for his antics, but maybe he should be aware of camera eyes to keep his fan base alive out there.
The recent incident took place during the third period when Lighting leveled up their 5-2 score to 5-4, even after Miller tried tying the record earlier in the game. This 2022-23 season, he’s been trending on social media, mostly for his antics during and after games.
The Bolts’ win against Canucks boosted their score to 26-13-1 whereas, Canucks flail around with a 17-21-3 record. Miller, who signed a 5-year $26.25 million contract with the team, carries a total score of 37 points in 41 games with 16 goals and 21 assists. His total NHL score stands at 491 points with 185 goals and 306 assists in 678 games.
