Nikki Bella reportedly looking to divorce Artem Chigvintsev after domestic violence arrest

Nikki Bella‘s marriage with Dancing With The Stars Pro Artem Chigvintsev has been under a lot of stress over the past few weeks. The couple even has a 4-year-old child together named Matteo. After spending over two years as a married couple, the duo may be looking to part ways.

According to TMZ, Bella has been on the hunt for a divorce lawyer. She has been making calls regarding the matter since Friday, the day after Chigvintsev was arrested, with the intention to end her marriage. She has also not been wearing her wedding ring since the incident. The 40-year-old hosted an event in Vegas over the weekend, and her finger was bare.

Artem Chigvintsev has also not been residing in his home since being granted bail. Meanwhile, Bella has been staying at the family home with her 4-year-old child. Bella met Chigvintsev in 2017 on Dancing With The Stars. The two started dating shortly thereafter, and their son was born in 2020. The couple eventually got married in 2022.

On Thursday, Chigvintsev called for medical assistance after physically abusing his wife. Allegedly, the former Diva’s Champion also threw shoes at him. The Russian dancer eventually canceled the ambulance, which triggered an automatic police response. The officers found bruises on Bella’s body, and the 42-year-old was booked into Napa County Jail.

WWE had a significant presence at an event on Labor Day 2024. Joey Chestnut and Takera Kobayashi settled their differences in a hot dog eating contest in the Netflix special Chestnut vs. Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef. The two competitors had an intense competition, with Chestnut coming out on top.

The event was hosted live by Rob Giggle and Nikki Bella. Throughout the entire stream, the former Diva’s Champion was not wearing her wedding ring. Other wrestlers also made an appearance before the competition began.

Rey Mysterio came out in a Team Joey T-shirt and a WWE Undisputed Championship belt that he would present to the winner. Meanwhile, Omos was sporting a Team Kobayashi shirt.
