Reigning NBA MVP and Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic led Serbia to a bronze medal at the 2024 Olympics, and the team celebrated with joy, singing and dancing on the team bus. The Joker had a phenomenal tournament, as he led all players in points, rebounds, assists, and steals.

Nikola Jokic’s performance was crucial in Serbia’s 93-83 win over Germany, as he finished with 19 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists. Furthermore, he averaged 18.8 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 8.7 assists per game in six starts during the Olympics.

Serbia’s bronze medal is their third since 1992, and The Joker’s second Olympic medal, adding to the silver he won in Rio, Brazil 2016. The team’s success is a testament to their hard work and dedication as they didn’t let the last defeat weigh them down. 

Serbia’s medal win comes after a strong tournament performance, where they finished as the second-best team behind the United States in what was a game of the ages against the favorites. Despite a tough semifinal loss to the USA, Serbians and their fans would be delighted as they bounced back to win the bronze medal.

His celebration which has now gone viral showed a different side of the one-time NBA champion different from what fans have come to know d when he turns out for the Denver Nuggets. 

However, Jokic’s true character shone through after the game, as he demonstrated exemplary sportsmanship by shaking hands with the German players and coaching staff before celebrating with his teammates. And with the way he celebrated on the team bus, fans have now seen another side of The Joker.
