Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk is at our doorstep after all the hurdles it has faced. The fight has been postponed three times until now but is set to happen in four days. As such, both heavyweights have already arrived in Saudi Arabia ahead of their highly anticipated fight. Subsequently, they shared their thoughts about each other, during which Usyk mentioned that Fury’s comments suggest that he is a bit bipolar.

Across the buildup to the fight, Fury belittled his opponent with several comments. This included dismissing his boxing skills and bringing up the fact that he isn’t a natural heavyweight. He has also made several comments about his appearance and his front teeth. However, this has now changed right ahead of the fight, and Fury is somehow giving his opponent a lot of respect. Usyk responded to this change in behavior by calling him bipolar.

I think Tyson has bipolar disorder. One week he says I'm a rabbit, that I'm a bad light heavyweight. The next week, he says I'm a good boxer.

Hence, Usyk found it quite strange that Tyson Fury called him the best opponent that he has faced across his illustrious undefeated record. This is especially because of how much he dismissed Usyk’s skills across the buildup.

Subsequently, Oleksandr Usyk doesn’t seem to be bothered by this because he doesn’t care about his opponent’s opinions. As such, he is just focusing on proving himself on May 18 and plans on doing this by becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion.

Oleksandr Usyk reacts to John Fury headbutting his teammate

Things have been quite heated since fight week started. This was seen when the two training camps clashed recently in Saudi Arabia. The incident started when Fury’s team and Usyk’s team came face-to-face and started yelling their fighter’s names.

While this happened, John Fury got up close with a member of Usyk’s team and began to push him away with his head. Subsequently, Usyk’s team member did not back away, which caused the situation to further escalate. After this, John decided to headbutt another member of Usyk’s team, which caused him to bleed from his head

Usyk reacted to the incident by calling it bad behavior because John was clearly the instigator. Furthermore, it was later revealed that the member with whom John clashed was not hurt in any way. Later, Fury also reacted to the incident with surprise when he saw his father bleeding from his head.
