Four-time Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles is now counting down the days until the biggest moment in her life. The gymnast will soon be walking down the aisle. On Friday, she took to her social media and informed her followers about this. She shared a selfie along with her finance Jonathan Owens. She was holding her official marriage license while smiling broadly.
A few days ago she hosted her “Cloud 9” bridal shower in Houston, Texas. The couple obtained their marriage license from Montgomery County. They are likely to exchange their wedding vows there. ‘Almost time to say “I do”,’ she wrote in her caption. The couple however has not shared a date for their big day.
The pair got engaged in 2022 after meeting each other online. A few messages were soon followed by hangouts. The couple soon grew close to one another and soon blossoms sparked between them. The duo has received their fair share of love and criticism throughout their time together.

Jonathan Owens and Simone Biles are a match made in heaven
There is no doubt the couple has been active a lot on social media. In March, Biles would find herself on the receiving ends of trolls and heat after a tweet. After a bachelorette trip, she jokingly mentioned needing a sugar daddy due to her credit card bills. People were quick to hunt her down for this tweet. The gymnast would later need to clarify herself.
Born in Ohio, Biles grew up with her maternal grandparents. She started her gymnastics career at the young age of six. Since then Biles has won seven medals in gymnastics in the Olympics. She is one of the most successful gymnasts in the history of the World Gymnastics Championships. She has 25 gold medals to her name. In 2022, she was honored with the Presidential Medal of Freedom by US President Joe Biden for her historic career.
Her finance Jonathan grew up in St Louis, Missouri. He currently plays the position of safety in the National Football League (NFL). After a injury-prone season with the Arizona Cardinals in 2018, he joined the Houston Texans. He has since then made his way back and forth through the active and practice squad of his current team.
