Roman Reigns’ special counsel Paul Heyman recently revealed that Jimmy Uso is prepared to make his return to WWE Smackdown. His brother, Jey Uso, has been involved in major Smackdown storylines with the Universal Champion.
But Jimmy Uso last wrestled on WWE at Wrestlemania 36. He suffered a knee injury during a ladder match, against John Morrison and Kofi Kingston, which has kept him out of action. Heyman was recently talking to Big E during WWE’s post Smackdown show, Talking Smack.
Heyman, host of Talking Smack, told the WWE Intercontinental Champion that Jimmy could support him in a similar way to how Jey looks out for the Universal Champion.
“Jey Uso, look at Jey Uso. He’s not just Main Event Jey Uso, he’s not just the right-hand man, he’s practically a secret service agent for Roman Reigns, for The Tribal Chief, for the end-all-be-all, for The Head of the Table, for the Universal Heavyweight Champion, for the main event of WrestleMania… which is why this morning I mentioned you. If you’re tired of it, if you want to protect that Championship reign, there is more than one Uso, and services are available.”
Jimmy Uso was last seen at WWE Hell in a Cell
Before Jey Uso joined forces with Roman Reigns, they were feuding against each other. They faced each other at WWE Hell in a Cell in an “I Quit” match. The Tribal Chief brutally assaulted his cousin during the match.
Jimmy ran down to the ring during the match, to save Jey. Reigns tricked Jimmy and applied the guillotine choke onto him. In order to save Jimmy, Jey finally said, “I Quit” and Reigns won the match. Jimmy Uso has been off WWE TV since then. Whether Jimmy joins Reigns’ stable or fights against it, remains to be seen.
