WWE is starting to map out the creative adjustments for WrestleMania 41. The road to it starts this weekend in Indianapolis at the Royal Rumble. A recent company signee, Penta, is slated for a strong outing in the 30-man Rumble bout, per Dr. Chris Featherstone. The journalist also noted that WWE has big plans for the 39-year-old heading into WrestleMania.

Even though the specifics of it are under wraps, one can expect the Mexican-born wrestler to be factored into the working plans for WWE’s biggest show of the year. Penta arrived in WWE a couple of weeks ago. Upon his debut, the luchador dispatched a gritty Chad Gable.

The former AEW star’s family was ringside. Penta’s daughters got emotional seeing their dad in such a significant spot, where he declared it’s the “Penta new era.” The erstwhile AEW tag team champion competed for the second straight week on WWE programming last Monday when he battled Pete Dunne.

Once again, the opponent changed, but the outcome didn’t. The Bruiserweight succumbed to the flamboyant Latino despite holding his own ground. The man who embodies Cero Miedo bumped into Bron Breakker on the latest edition of Raw. Both men traded some words before declaring for the Royal Rumble match.

While Bron has already competed in it last year, Penta is the debutant here. As alluded to in the aforementioned report, the fans could expect an Ironman-like performance from him. Penta aspired to move to WWE from AEW alongside his real-life brother, Rey Fenix.

However, Fenix is still under an AEW contract. Tony Khan doesn’t plan on releasing him until his deal runs out of time somewhere later this year. Former WWE star Baron Corbin recently dipped his toes into the controversy where he took a stand for the AEW CEO.

What are the early plans for WrestleMania 41?

For the first time in years, it’s almost Royal Rumble time, and fans have little to no idea about the potential matches for WrestleMania. All the fantasy predictions were put to rest once The Rock apparently dropped out of the race from making it to Mania.

If it does stay like that, WWE plans on holding John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE title. It’s way more complicated for the other world title currently held by Gunther. Multiple names like Seth Rollins, Logan Paul, and more are chasing it.

On the women’s side of things, Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair has been discussed. Furthermore, Bianca Belair may end up challenging Rhea Ripley for the women’s world title. There’s also going to be a lot of celebrity rush in Las Vegas for the two-night event, as previously confirmed by Triple H.
