Definitely. Most definitely. He's getting really good at what he's doing. The fact that he's where he's at with such little time, I wish I could have been there with four years of being in the business. The fact that he's been able to be in there with the best - Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, John Cena.

The WWE Universe has already witnessed their storied rivalry on the biggest stage of them all. In the two matches they were involved in at WrestleMania 39 and WrestleMania XL, Rey got the best of Dom both times. The 27-year-old star will look to turn the tables as he meets his father once again in a singles match on the upcoming episode of Raw.

Rey Mysterio opens about whose idea it was for the “Custody of Dominik Mysterio” ladder match

Although Dominik Mysterio made his in-ring debut as a professional wrestler just four years ago, he has been involved in the business for a long time. Additionally, he was involved in one of the most heated storylines of 2005, which culminated in Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero fighting for his custody. In an interview, The Biggest Little Man discussed where the idea originated.

While speaking with Chris, the 49-year-old legend stated that it was Bruce Prichard and Eddie’s idea. Rey thought the idea was cool and talked to his son about it when he was seven years old. He revealed that Dom was initially shy, but once he knew money was involved, he was ready.

I wanna say that came from Bruce and Eddie... and I don't know if somebody else had some input in it, but when that Idea was brought up to me, I said sure. that sounds cool, let me speak to Dom about it. He was always so shy and timid, but when he knew that money was involved, he said yeah I'm down.

Rey credited his best friend Eddie for making Dom feel comfortable in his surroundings by giving him Twizzlers. The Ultimate Underdog won the match when Eddie’s wife, Vickie Guerrero, stopped him from taking the briefcase. Needless to say, the stipulation and eventual match will always be an iconic moment in wrestling fans’ eyes.
