The Cleveland crowd experienced a WTF moment when Dominik Mysterio helped Liv Morgan win against his partner, Rhea Ripley. However, things went out of control when they both shared a kiss in front of a devastated Mami. After the events at SummerSlam, Dom’s father, Rey Mysterio, expressed his opinion on social media.

WWE’s official Instagram account posted a video of Dominik Mysterio backstabbing Rhea Ripley. The legendary luchador took a moment to share his opinion on the whole match and the segment. Rey Mysterio stated that his son was a master of what he did and one of the best he’d ever seen. However, this was by no means meant positively, as the Hall of Famer said it about Dominik betraying those who cared the most about him.

Rey was the first to experience what “Dirty” Dom was all about. He turned heel at the 2022 Clash at the Castle PLE by attacking both his father and Edge. The relationship between them worsened to the point that the 27-year-old star even went to jail. Now, after being loyal to Ripley for a long time, he has finally joined Liv Morgan and betrayed his Mami.

Father and son have faced each other multiple times in their careers, including twice at WrestleMania. After two losses at the biggest stage of them all, the former North American Champion finally pinned Rey in a tag team match a few weeks ago on Raw. The 49-year-old legend has expressed his desire to wrestle his retirement match against his son in several interviews. Only time will tell whether they will meet in the ring again.

Dominik Mysterio thanks Liv Morgan on social media after backstabbing Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam

It looks like Dirty Dom had no regrets about his actions at SummerSlam. If kissing Daddio in front of his Mami wasn’t enough, he even sent a message to her on social media. The 27-year-old star thanked the Women’s World Champion after aligning with her at the biggest event of the summer.

The former North American Champion took to X and shared a picture of himself in an extremely happy mood. He thanked Morgan for providing him with his favorite chicken tenders and stated that she understood him so well. Meanwhile, Daddio quickly responded to Daddy Dom, saying the pleasure was all hers.

However, it seemed that not only Dom Dom but also Finn Balor woke up in a good mood. He betrayed his best friend Damian Priest and cost him the world title against Gunther at SummerSlam. After bringing a heartbreaking end to Judgment Day, it will be interesting to see what the new alliance of Morgan, Balor, and Dominik does to create more havoc.
