WWE’s so-called ‘Mami’ is a different breed altogether during house shows. On Sunday, the company staged a live event from the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. Rhea Ripley battled her arch-rival Liv Morgan and got the better of one-half of the women’s tag team champions. However, the most flashy moment from the match wasn’t the eventual pretzel pin from the Aussie.
In fact, at one point, the 29-year-old, while perched on the middle-rope turnbuckle, lightly tapped a kendo stick on her butt, teasing Morgan. Unsurprisingly, the said NSFW gesture from Rhea is making the rounds on the internet. Some believe it’s merely a thirst-trap from her. But those who follow the Adelaide-born wrestler during house shows might be knowing that Ripley has made it a new norm.
Since these shows don’t air for the general viewing WWE audience, there’s a way more leeway associated with them. A ton of superstars rightfully leverage the watered-down restrictions to hog some more limelight for themselves. One of the most talked-about moments of ‘House Show Rhea’ includes Ripley stink-facing Nia Jax last year.

It was perceived as an ode to WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi. Soon after The Eradicator grabbed headlines from it, her husband, Buddy Matthews, cashed in on the opportunity to flaunt that he’s married to such a bombshell. The AEW star is someone who almost never misses out on reiterating that he reserves the right to call the former Judgment Day member his wife.
Zoey Stark blasts Rhea Ripley over NSFW gesture
It turns out that Rhea Ripley’s latest house show exploits didn’t sit well with one of her WWE coworkers, Zoey Stark. The latter quoted a reply to that video on X in which Mami is clipped tapping her backside. Stark believes that Rhea’s gesture is an example of what’s wrong with women in today’s society.

Guess what? The Nightmare didn’t take long to clap back at the former PFC member, saying, “Kiss my juicy a** Zoey.” It’s clear that Mami doesn’t care about what Stark thinks of her. The two women feuded briefly on WWE television. Their high-profile women’s title match dates back to Survivor Series in 2023.

At the time, Ripley was defending her gold against Zoey. Even though The Sniper went into the PLE as a prohibitive underdog, she actually showed some spark. Rhea was made to toil hard before she hit her finisher on Trish Stratus‘ former protege to remain unscathed.
Stark had a big-time feud with Becky Lynch immediately upon her main roster debut. The 31-year-old was paired with Stratus as her sidekick. Back then, Trish was handling her own issues with Lynch, which, after Zoey’s arrival, allowed the WWE HOF’er to take a breather.
Rhea Ripley’s last chance to make it to WrestleMania 41
This Monday on Raw in London, Rhea Ripley has a chance to write her own destiny. She faces IYO SKY with the women’s world title on the line. Not only that, Bianca Belair has been tapped as a special guest referee for the high-stakes showdown.

A few weeks ago, The Genius of the Sky shocked the world after dethroning Ripley for the gold. After the match, the Aussie pinned the blame on Belair for her ringside shenanigans. Since then, these women have been creating a ruckus on Raw.
GM Adam Pearce finally made the call last week to schedule a title match between SKY and Rhea. The winner of that gets to face Bianca at WrestleMania 41. However, the fans already know that things aren’t expected to sail smoothly. There’s enough writing on the wall to discern a triple-threat showdown is in the cards.
