Rhea Ripley and Toni Storm began their wrestling careers at roughly the same time. They eventually made their way to WWE, training in NXT and NXT UK. Today, they continue to be friends and are among the biggest stars of their respective promotions, with The Eradicator being the top female star on the red brand and the former AEW Women’s Champion rocking her ‘Timeless’ gimmick over the past year.

While speaking on WWE Tattooed, Ripley revealed the story of her first tattoo. She got it made on her wrist right before the Evolution PLE. WWE Evolution was a women’s-only show, and the promotion was held in 2018. The day before the show, she went along with Toni Storm to get her first tattoo.

This date was exactly six years apart from the day she tried out for Riot City wrestling in Australia, technically marking the start of her wrestling career. Furthermore, she saw Evolution as the beginning of the women’s evolution in WWE. Thus, the date that she got the tattoo was extremely special to her. Storm and she decided to get matching tattoos of that date in Roman numerals.

I went with Toni Storm, and the funny thing about this date and why it’s so special to me is because it was the exact same date six years prior of when I tried out for Riot City Wrestling in Australia. So it’s technically the start of my wrestling career, and it’s also the start of the women’s evolution, which I think was absolutely wild.

Furthermore, this date was also the first time that The Eradicator got to defend her NXT UK Women’s Championship on a big show. Since then, Rhea Ripley has gotten plenty of tattoos throughout her career, alongside other friends and her husband. Buddy Matthews.

Mysterio claimed that Ripley and Priest had gotten ahead of themselves. This was evident in the weeks leading up to Backlash when the Archer of Infamy treated his stablemates terribly. Therefore, the group believed that they had to take out the trash.

Then all of us realizing Damian and Rhea had gotten ahead of themselves so we had to take out the trash. There is a lot of history there between all of us and I think it’s really cool to see it all come together.
