Hours before Monday Night Raw, rumors swirled that Rhea Ripley would vacate her title due to injury. While many found that hard to believe, it turned out to be true when The Eradicator kicked off the show. Ripley came out with a sling on her arm as she reluctantly vacated her Women’s World Championship. Moments after relinquishing the title, The Judgment Day sent a two-word message on social media.

Ripley took to X and paid homage to her 380-day reign. After winning the belt at WrestleMania 39 against Charlotte Flair, she went on to dominate the women’s division on Raw. Whenever Mami defended the championship, it was guaranteed that she would walk out successfully. The past few months saw the reign reach its peak. First, The Eradicator laid waste to Nia Jax at Elimination Chamber in front of her home crowd.

A month later, she would go on to beat her toughest opponent to date, Becky Lynch, at WrestleMania XL. From there, it was almost certain that Rhea Ripley would go on to break the record for longest-reigning women’s champion in history. However, she has fallen short by 40 days. Needless to say, it was a tough pill to swallow for fans.

Next week, WWE will crown the new Women’s World Champion. Although it has not been specified how the title holder will be decided. One thing’s for sure: whoever is the next champion will find it a tough challenge to fill the boots of Rhea Ripley.

Liv Morgan claims that Rhea Ripley got her ‘karma’

No one was happier than Liv Morgan when Rhea Ripley vacated her title. After all, the 29-year-old was the one who ‘injured’ The Eradicator on last week’s episode of Raw. To make matters worse, Morgan continued to mock and laugh at Mami when she relinquished the Women’s World Championship. In a backstage interview with Cathy Kelley, she explained why Ripley got exactly what she deserved.

Last year, The Judgment Day member brutally attacked Morgan, sidelining her for months with injury. Therefore, Daddio claimed that what happened with Ripley was a receipt for that attack. Liv seemingly displayed a heel character as she went on to call out the WWE Universe for its hypocrisy.

The 2022 Money In The Bank winner proceeded to lay out her plans for the ‘Liv Morgan revenge tour’. She vowed to become the next Women’s Champion. Obviously, the entire angle is set up for an eventual marquee match between Ripley and Morgan.
