WWE is just a week away from debuting Raw on Netflix, and they seem to have pulled out all the stops. The promotion has put on some of their biggest matches for this episode, including Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan, who will finally look to settle their rivalry on January 6 2025.

Rhea Ripley said on X that after Morgan goes home following their match next week, her bag will be 10 pounds lighter. This is, of course, referring to the fact that she will lose her title to the 28-year-old and won’t have to carry it around anymore. Furthermore, she referred to this match as “her finale.” This suggests that this will be the last match these two superstars have for a while.

Surprisingly, the latest episode of Raw did not feature any interaction between Morgan and Ripley. Seeing as this was the go-home show before the Netflix debut, many fans expected these two to face off one final time before their match. However, all fans got to see was a video package. In fact, these two superstars also did not interact on last week’s episode. This is because the Women’s World Champion has mainly been involved in Judgment Day drama.

The latest interaction between these two superstars occurred at the Netflix Kickoff show, where their title match was made official. Later on, it was announced that the bout would be held as a Last Woman Standing match for the title.

WWE analyst Sam Roberts believes Rhea Ripley will finally win back her title from Liv Morgan at Raw‘s debut on Netflix

A couple of days ago, Vince Russo talked about how Rhea Ripley was bigger than the title. Thus, she should not get it back at Raw’s debut on Netflix. However, WWE analyst Sam Roberts recently came out with an opposing view. He believes that it is now finally time for Liv Morgan to drop the Women’s World Championship.

Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Roberts said that Ripley will win back the title on Jan 6th and finally separate herself from this feud against Morgan. She will then start building towards her feud for WrestleMania, whoever it may be against. Many fans have advocated for the Australian’s WrestleMania match to be against Iyo Sky.

I think that this is where Rhea Ripley wins back the title and then you start telling whatever story you’re gonna tell going into WrestleMania for Rhea.

Roberts said that the last great challenge that Ripley faced was Becky Lynch at WrestleMania XL. This time, the roles must be reversed. The Eradicator has built herself up as a force to be reckoned with. Thus, whoever is going up against should be feeling like the underdog heading into the match.
