Circa April 2024, The Bloodline and The Judgment Day were undoubtedly the two biggest factions in WWE. Over the course of the past four months, things have significantly changed. After being betrayed by Dominik Mysterio at SummerSlam, Rhea Ripley left the faction as Liv Morgan took her place. Following the events that transpired, Ripley has resorted to mocking the new version of The Judgment Day on social media, even going so far as to support Roman Reigns.
The Eradicator reposted a meme on Instagram of her and Reigns in a parody movie poster. The duo, referred to as the “OGs”, could be seen looking over their former stable. While Ripley is carrying a “Wish” version of The Judgment Day box, Reigns is holding a “Temu” Bloodline box. On this week’s Raw, Finn Balor introduced the new version of the ‘gothic’ faction. Balor appeared on the giant screen alongside JD McDonagh, Carlito, and the newest power couple.
During Ripley’s absence from television, Morgan executed her plan to take Dom away from his Mami. Although it initially looked unsuccessful, Mysterio shocked the fans when he betrayed the former Women’s World Champion. A few hours later, the implosion of The Judgment Day was complete. Balor cost Damian Priest the World Heavyweight title, helping Gunther beat his then-teammate for the championship.
Meanwhile, Roman Reigns made his return in the main event. The Head of the Table walked his way to the ring and delivered a Spear to Solo Sikoa. The latter had taken over the reins of The Bloodline. Hence, it was only a matter of time before Reigns punished his former Enforcer. Having said that, the former Universal Champion will need backup as the faction prepares for a civil war in the coming months.
What is next for The Judgment Day after betraying Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley?
An enraged Damian Priest squared off against JD McDonagh on the latest episode of Raw. After hitting a South of Heaven Chokeslam on his former teammate, Finn Balor interfered in the bout. The new Judgment Day would soon join in and unleash a beatdown on Priest. Moments later, backup arrived for the latter in the form of Rhea Ripley.
The Terror Twins cleared house and declared they were coming for The Judgment Day. A mixed tag team match could be on the cards soon, perhaps at the upcoming Bash in Berlin PLE. Priest and Ripley would take on Balor and Morgan in Germany.
Regardless of that result, a rematch between Ripley and Morgan for the Women’s World title is likely to take place at Bad Blood. Given the nature of the feud, a Hell in a Cell stipulation might be added to the much-anticipated battle.
