The animosity between Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio is growing day by day. It escalated to the point where Mysterio’s husband, Buddy Matthews, was closely monitoring all segments involving the duo when they were part of Judgment Day. However, now that they’re no longer together, the Aussie star responded with a sharp comeback on social media.

Buddy Matthews went live on Instagram, answering questions from fans. When a fan asked if he could take on Dominik Mysterio in a singles match, he jokingly replied that Dominik wasn’t even whole, just half. The former Cruiserweight Champion added that the only way the 27-year-old star would stand a chance is if he were a chicken tender in an eating competition.

An interesting detail to note is that after Matthews’ diss, even Rhea Ripley agreed, adding that Dom Dom would have lost even in an eating competition. Currently, the 35-year-old wrestles in WWE’s rival company, AEW. His most recent match was a tag team bout against Mansoor and Mayden, who were released from WWE recently, on the September 6 episode of Dynamite.

Would you go one-on-one with Dom? The only way Dom could beat if I was a chicken tender and he was hungry.

On the other hand, Dom and Liv Morgan recently lost a match against The Eradicator and Damian Priest at the Bash in Berlin PLE. Since then, they have taken advantage of the numbers game to attack the Terror Twins. Both Ripley and Priest will be heavily involved in Bad Blood, as Mami will have a chance to win back her world title. The Archer of Infamy is set to face his former friend, now foe, Finn Balor, in a singles match.

Rhea Ripley admitted being heartbroken when the Judgment Day split at SummerSlam

Judgment Day’s official end came at SummerSlam when Dirty Dom betrayed her and aligned with Daddio. Moreover, her best friend Damian Priest was also betrayed by Finn Balor, who cost him his title. For obvious reasons, she was seen completely heartbroken and crying backstage along with her Terror Twin. The Eradicator later explained why that was the case.

While speaking on The Wrestling Classic podcast, Ripley stated that Judgment Day was really like a family to her. She knew she could trust any of the faction members but ended up being betrayed and heartbroken.

The Judgment Day was really family to me, like it really was. It has helped my career so much more than I can actually put into words because I feel like that was when I started opening up and feeling comfortable going out there in front of the crowd because I had the boys to fall back on. So it was really emotional for me.

Unfortunately, that’s all in the past for her, as she looks forward to reclaiming the title she never truly lost—her world title. Only time will tell what the future holds for Mami.
