With The Rock and Roman Reigns currently on hiatus and Solo Sikoa taking over The Bloodline, the faction has undergone some major changes. After Tama Tonga‘s debut on Smackdown and Paul Heyman‘s fear of the new leadership, the future of the dominant faction remains ambiguous. As such, a member of the Anoa’i family recently gave his thoughts about where the faction could be headed. 

Rikishi recently speculated about the future of the Bloodline on his Rikishi Fatu Off The Top podcast. Additionally, he talked about what this could mean for The Tribal Chief and The Final Boss. The former Intercontinental Champion predicted The Rock would turn on Roman Reigns. Therefore, this would eventually lead to The Tribal Chief’s babyface turn. According to Rikishi, WWE would want to build up the dream match between the cousins for next year’s WrestleMania.

However, after Tama Tonga’s debut and Solo Sikoa’s takeover, the WWE legend speculated that The Bloodline storyline would be relatively dormant for the time being. Instead, he mentioned that other members of the roster would take the spotlight until the faction’s return. As a juxtaposition, Rikishi claimed that the faction would always be lurking in the background.

All they would need is the right angle and storyline to return to the fray. He also threw out the idea of a Bloodline WarGames match taking place in the future. The other members of The Bloodline would then pick sides between the two. Needless to say, this would then lead to either the aforementioned match or some other type of gimmick bout.

The Rock teases facing Cody Rhodes in the future

The Rock has teased another face-off with the Undisputed WWE Champion in his recent post on X. The Great One posted a black-and-white montage of his beatdown on Cody Rhodes, making him bleed. Along with that, The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment explained how he loved to take out the trash in the rain.

The Brahma Bull threatened to make The American Nightmare bleed the hard way for the rest of his life. Further, he reminded all WWE talent and executives of his infamous quote, telling them that while it did not have to be this way, it was now the only way. He ended by warning others not to mess with him, as The Final Boss always had the last say.

It didn’t have to be this way. But now it’s the only way.
