The New York Jets are not entirely different with Aaron Rodgers this season than they were without the star quarterback last year. Five games into the season, the team has a 2-3 record after losing to Sam Darnold and the Minnesota Vikings.

Aaron Rodgers had yet another bad outing. The quarterback threw for two touchdowns and three interceptions in a game where the Jets’ attempt to stage a comeback fell short by six points. This loss comes after New York failed to beat the Denver Broncos last week, where they lost the game by one point despite a historically underwhelming outing by Bo Nix.

With the Jets looking no better in spite of having a roster stacked with talent, the focus is now directed toward one man, that is head coach Robert Saleh.

The head coach for the New York Jets finds his job at risk after the disappointing start of his team. Tonight was not the best night for the Vikings either, as the team scored a total of two touchdowns and the remainder of the points came through the means of field goals.

Surprisingly, the Jets had more passing yards and total yards than the Vikings, with 218 and 254, respectively. Minnesota was sacked four times and made fewer plays on offense than the Jets, yet New York was unable to bring this home.

Robert Saleh is on thin ice after the Jets’ underwhelming start 5 weeks into the season

The head coach is in his fourth season as HC, and through Week 5, has a record of 20-36. The Jets have gone all-in on bringing the best talent and building a complete roster on offense and defense. The team is interested in seeing immediate results.

The Jets have a top-ranked defense yet rank sixth in terms of most points allowed so far this season. Robert Saleh has the best talent at his disposal but has struggled to deliver the desired output.

The Week 5 loss infuriated fans of the team and the comments on X seeking his dismissal are increasing by the minute. Take a look:

The clock is ticking for Robert Saleh. The team’s schedule continues to get hard with Buffalo and Pittsburgh in the subsequent weeks.

At this rate, the Jets are likely to finish with yet another underwhelming season and a first-round exit in the playoffs.
