For the first time in almost nine months, Roman Reigns and The Rock stood inside the same ring. This occurred right after Reigns defeated his cousin, Solo Sikoa, in Tribal Combat warfare. In a match that included everything one would expect from a Bloodline battle, The OTC won back his Ula Fala. Following Reigns’ victory, The Final Boss came out to congratulate the former Universal Champion.
Taking to X, Reigns reacted to the wholesome moment. The Head of the Table asked the WWE Universe to now acknowledge him as their “Tribal Chief.” Prior to the match, The Rock opened the show with a promo. During that, the Hollywood star endorsed Reigns, terming him as the ‘Only’ Tribal Chief. Surprisingly, The Great One seemingly turned face as he also lauded Cody Rhodes, who was sitting in the front row on Raw.
Regardless, it was a hard-fought win for Reigns, who had worked hard to take back his throne. After WrestleMania XL, Sikoa upsurged his cousin and quickly took over The Bloodline. In the months that followed, the former NXT North American Champion kicked Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman out of the faction. Additionally, Sikoa brought in Jacob Fatu and the Tongans, putting together a dominant force.

This kicked off a civil war within the Samoan family, which prompted Roman Reigns to return at SummerSlam. Furthermore, the two sides then exchanged back-and-forth wins as The OG Bloodline reunited. The saga between Reigns and Sikoa finally culminated on last night’s Netflix premiere. Having said that, fans cannot wait to see what lies ahead for the former Shield member.
What is next for Roman Reigns after Tribal Combat win on Raw?
When Roman Reigns returned at SummerSlam, he signaled to Cody Rhodes he would come after the Undisputed WWE Title. However, Reigns needed to take control of his family, having lost control due to Solo Sikoa. Now that he’s won the Ula Fala back, one might assume that Reigns will enter the world title picture again.
As such, The Tribal Chief could enter the Royal Rumble match. Interestingly, this would mark his first appearance in the 30-man bout since 2020. Current reported plans are for Reigns to face CM Punk at this year’s WrestleMania.
Whether this match will be for a world title is yet to be seen. Prior to teaming with Reigns at WarGames, Punk revealed that Heyman owed him a favor. Therefore, it will be interesting to see whether the favor comes into play in the upcoming months.
