Rory MacDonald defeats Curtis Millender
Rory MacDonald is the former UFC fighter who was involved in some of the most gruesome fights inside the octagon, Rory is now competing in the PFL, and he pulled off a stunning rear-naked choke against Curtis Millender in the first round of PFL 2 headliner.
Rory secured a quick takedown in the round one, and his opponent was trying to fight his hand when Rory opened up his legs which forced Curtis to move up and as soon as his neck was open, Rory secured the choke.
The fight took place at Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, N.J. This venue has served as the home for Rory. He has worked really hard in the last year, and Rory believes that all this hard-work would pay-off and he will win this third season of PFL.
Rory MacDonald assures fans that he will definitely use more striking
After the fight Rory said, “I put in a lot of work, a lot of sacrifice over 2020, so I’m really glad to be here and have a performance like that.”
He also assured that he will use more striking as the tournament proceeds, “The Red King” is back in the win column after losing the fight against Bellator welterweight champion Douglas Lima.
Millender is also a former UFC fighter, and he has lost four out of his last five fights, this tournament is really shaping up and we are excited to see who will be the winner of this tournament.
