Los Angeles Clippers superstar Russell Westbrook gets trolled for his miserable performance against Dallas Mavericks in game 5 of playoffs

This was supposed to be the season the Los Angeles Clippers challenged for the NBA Championship. After all, they have 4 superstars in the team and many decent role players. Instead, tonight in game 5 of the playoffs, the Dallas Mavericks humiliated them in front of their own crowd. Russell Westbrook happens to be one of those who were on the receiving end of that blowout. But it was worse for him when fans trolled the superstar for having a terrible performance.

At the end of the first quarter, the Los Angeles Clippers looked like they had a chance. However, the Mavericks flipped the script and went on a rampage. Beating the Clippers by almost double digits for each of the remaining quarters, they came out victorious. Even though the starters struggled, at least there was hope that the bench would help stabilize the tide. Instead, Russell Westbrook shot 18% from the floor, most importantly going 0-3 from the three.

It was one of the reasons for this catastrophic loss. After all, Westbrook was supposed to be the player who could lead the bench to keep them in the game. Instead, the bench crumbled alongside their leader. Setting off chain reactions in fans as to the level of performance the Clippers provide.

Now they head into Game 6 of the playoff series on the road. Not an easy encounter to win over as the Dallas Mavericks fans will be out there cheering for their team to win the series. If only the former triple-double champion could get it going.

Basketball fans were hopeful of a good fight tonight. After all, the Clippers were just coming off a good win at Dallas in game 4. But fans knew as the game went on that the Mavericks are determined to run the Clippers out of their own building. Especially when they saw Westbrook try three-point shots with them down by double digits.
