For the FIFA world cup finals, there was no doubt as to who Esteban Ocon was going to support. Being a French national, the Alpine driver was rooting for the French team in order for them to win the world cup again like they did back in 2018 against Croatia. However that did not seem to go as planned and it led to messages of support coming towards them from around the world.

The Final match of the FIFA world cup was one to remember for all the fans. With this world cup being the last one for players such as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, it was very important that one of them brings the trophy home to their respective country. Unfortunately CR7 couldn’t do it as his team got knocked out leaving the Maestro to get the job done.

Esteban Ocon and all of France will be in mourning for a few days following their world cup defeat. Losing a final at the very last moment is something that Lewis Hamilton would relate with. But that doesn’t mean that it’s over. It’s just the beginning of a training regime to get back to the world cup and show everyone how it’s done to finally get their third star.
