WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks has revealed that she wants to show everyone that she is number one in the company. To prove this, she wants to face the Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

The Boss and The Tribal Chief are currently the biggest stars on the Smackdown roster. Both the superstars will be defending their titles at Wrestlemania 37 against the 2021 Royal Rumble winners. Sasha Banks faces Bianca Belair, while Reigns is up against Edge and Daniel Bryan.

The Boss has not only been dominating the Smackdown women’s roster, but also has appeared in the successful series – The Mandalorian. Banks recently appeared for an interview with GQ Magazine, where she discussed her way forward after achieving so much success.

“There’s always work to be done. And it’s more internal than external. I love to put in the work to help it grow within itself. I mean, I beat Drew McIntyre last year, so I would love a singles match against Roman Reigns. Just to show that I really am the number one in the company.”

Roman Reigns and Sasha Banks have been involved in a match in WWE, but they had teamed up in that bout. Since then Banks has competed in an intergender match once, so a match against Roman Reigns could be interesting.

Wrestlemania is WWE’s biggest night of the year. History is made and legends are born at the Showcase of Immortals. This year, Wrestlemania will be a two-night event.

The match between Banks and Belair is reportedly going to be the main event the Night One of Wrestlemania. But that is not all. This is the first time ever that two black women will compete in a singles match for the Women’s Championship.

WWE Wrestlemania airs live on 10th and 11th April, 2021.
