Sean Strickland has long been vocal about his disdain for Andrew Tate. He has called the controversial internet figure a “pimp” and a “con artist” among many others. Their previous back-and-forth online had gained significant attention on social media. Well, the former UFC middleweight champion is at it again. Here is what happened:

Sean Strickland has long opposed Andrew Tate’s controversial rise in social media and his ideologies. Strickland, known for his extreme views, often touches on similar topics. A user recently trolled Strickland on X for effectively echoing some of Tate’s key messages about masculinity. The UFC superstar had some harsh words for the internet personality.

You understand I’m copying stoicism?… Tate is not a stoic… He is con artist. He’s a pimp who pretended to be a girl to con men of their life savings. You’re very confused…….

Andrew Tate responded to Strickland’s attack shortly after. His response was unexpectedly calm. In the past, the Tate brothers have always fired back at the American fighter. This time, rather than escalating the situation, he noted that Strickland’s views seemed to align with his own. He suggested that despite the insults, Strickland was helping to spread his message.

Strickland has publicly referred to Tate as a “con artist” on multiple occasions. Notably, during an appearance on the Full Send podcast, he accused Andrew Tate of exploiting men through his OnlyFans agency. Strickland argued that Tate takes advantage of young men who lack positive role models and portrays him as a manipulative figure who is not a suitable idol.

Sean Strickland is ready to “put on a master class” against any boxer

Sean Strickland recently shared his thoughts on the long-debated topic of brain damage in combat sports. The former UFC champion stated that boxing leads to more brain damage than MMA. He explained that boxing causes significantly more head trauma due to the focus on striking the head for prolonged periods.

Strickland has also called boxing a “ret*rded sport” due to the inevitable brain damage fighters face, even when dominating in the ring. Additionally, the knockdown rule in boxing allows fighters to continue even after being hit hard. This increases the chances of further injuries.

Strickland has even contemplated a career in the sport. Previously, the UFC star stated that he would consider leaving the UFC for a boxing career if he did not get the rematch against Dricus Du Plessis. He wanted to fight Jake Paul at one point to rake in more money. So far, it hasn’t happened. Dana White has said Strickland will get the next title shot. As such, the boxing move will not happen for Strickland.
