This week’s Raw had some surprising turns of events. It kicked off with a bang as Seth Rollins returned to WWE after a hiatus of two long months since WrestleMania XL. He came in to greet the fans at Copus Christi. However, his return was cut short when Damian Priest decided to make his presence known to the Visionary.
The former World Heavyweight Champion took some time to soak up the energy of the crowd. He welcomed fans to the show and expressed his gratitude for their love and support during the hiatus. The Visionary quickly cut to the chase after he revealed his intentions to come back sooner than expected. He was about to declare himself for the Money in the Bank ladder match. However, his aspirations were short-lived as Damian Priest decided to interrupt him.
El Campeon came in to appreciate the Visionary for his return. He went on to declare Monday Night Raw as his territory. After a back-and-forth verbal encounter, the Judgment Day member challenged Seth Rollins for a shot at his World Heavyweight Championship.
Moreover, it was quite a sight to witness the return of The Revolutionary to the company. He had quite an amazing WrestleMania this year, as he was also deemed the MVP of the event by The Rock. With SummerSlam just around the corner, it is certain that after such an impromptu return, he is set to have a major role this summer.
Seth Rollins looked emotional before his return to Raw
Seth Rollins’ return to Raw was fulfilling. The Visionary looked quite emotional on Raw while making his entrance. In a recent clip that broke out on the internet, The Revolutionary can be seen bracing himself before making his triumphant comeback in Copus Christi.
There were tears in the eyes of the former World Heavyweight Champion before he walked through the curtain. In the clip, he was looking at the TV screen to watch out for recent happenings. Just as his music hit, Rollins looked into the camera to take a deep breath and control all the adrenaline.
He was expected to return around the Royal Rumble next year. However, he truly achieved an expeditious return after suffering a torn meniscus at WrestleMania XL.
