The WWE Draft 2020 has reunited the Shield brothers, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. They haven’t teamed up again, but at least they are back on the same brand. Reigns had been on the Blue brand even prior to the draft. Whereas the “Monday Night Messiah” is a recent acquisition. 

Seth Rollins recently appeared on WWE’s The Bump. He discussed various topics with Corey Graves, with one of them being Roman Reigns’ recent heel turn. 

Roman Reigns took a break from WWE, when the pandemic broke out. He was out of action for a couple of weeks, before a surprising return at Summerslam PPV. He had not only turned Heel, but had also associated himself with one of the best minds in the business, Paul Heyman.

Roman Reigns’ first appearance after turning Heel

Discussing Roman Reigns’ new character, Rollins said that this is the real Roman Reigns. Having known him since long, Rollins is aware that Reigns had tried hard to hide this side of him. He said he was really proud of Reigns as he is taking the bull by the horns. Rollins also praised Reigns recent shape and in-ring performances. 

“To me, I’m all about it, I’m happy to see his success anywhere he goes and whatever he does.” shows that even if they aren’t wrestling as a team, Rollins has respect for the work they do as individuals.

Roman Reigns with his Hell “Tribal Chief” character, is arguably in the best phase of his career. He is currently involved in a feud with his cousin Jey Uso, for the Universal Championship. They gave each other in an ‘I Quit” Hell in a Cell match. Rollins, on the other hand, is still involved in the heavily criticized feud with Rey and Dominik Mysterio. It was believes that their feud would end with the Draft, but that has not been the case. 

Fans have already started anticipating a rivalry between these two former Shield members, but it remains to be seen, how long WWE takes to execute it.
